Services

  • Talk Therapy

Individualized sessions where we talk about past and present struggles, with the purpose of finding ways to shift internal beliefs and external circumstances so you can begin to ‘feel better’ and ‘do better.’ Therapy is person-centered and provided from an anti-oppressive framework. Art Therapy

These sessions involve all that is described in ‘talk therapy,’ plus we’re using creativity and art materials to support you and to promote insight. How you will use art and creativity directly relates to your goals and your preferences, and may involve making art in session or outside of session.

    Unlearning whiteness

For individuals of European descent who identify or have been referred to as ‘white’ or ‘white passing.’ This is a specific and individualized therapy journey, focused on exploration of your ancestry, identifying internalized racism at a body level, and unlearning attitudes and behaviors related to toxic whiteness.

Fees and Insurance

My fee for each of the services listed above is $160 per 50-minute session.

I have a number of sliding scale or reduced rate options available. Priority for these openings are given to individuals who identify as BIPOC or LGBTQIA+, those in the disability community, and those who are experiencing financial hardship. Please contact me to discuss your situation and available options.

I am also a participating provider for the United Healthcare/Optum network and for Lyra EAP. For all other insurances, I’m considered an ‘out-of-network’ therapist, covered by ‘Out of Network’ (OON) benefits. If you are planning on contacting your insurance to determine if your current plan might reimburse you for a portion of these sessions, this list of considerations and questions to ask may be helpful to you. If you would like any help in the process of figuring out your out-of-network benefits, please contact me.

Connection and Collaboration

I would love to hear your ideas about how we could collaborate in the work you are doing as a therapist or social worker, and/or related to antiracism and social justice movements. For change to happen, we need to weave webs of connection. Reach out and let’s connect!
